Photoshop Composite

This project was completed in my first semester and was our final term project. It made use of many masks, blending modes, images, light wrapping and clone stamping just to mention a few. I’m really proud of this one as it was my first foray into more advanced Photoshop CC. The only thing I would change is the lens flair, really not my cup of tea.

BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology) is a Polytechnic school with three main locations, Vancouver Downtown, Burnaby (main campus) and Richmond (Aviation programs). They have an excellent reputation in the industry for churning out top notch talent in the field of  Technology, Business and Engineering just to mention a few.

Composite a scene using multiple images. The composition should look like one cohesive photograph. I have provided a number of images but I encourage you to explore and find more on your own.

  • Hand in your PSD file with all adjustment layers, masks etc… intact! Do not flatten your composition.
  • You must usethe model I provided in any one of the poses
  • Use at least 2 of the images provided to you by me (including the model) Use at least 5 images in total
  • Make clean and accurate selections (no jagged edges or unwanted pieces/edges showing)
  • Use adjustment layers for any necessary corrections and thematic colouring Use layer mask(s)
