WordPress Portfolio Site
As a requirement for completion of our Certificate in New Media Design and Web Development we had to create a portfolio site. The site could either be a static or WordPress site. I choose to do a WordPress site from a template with some customization.
BCIT NMD & WD
BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology) is a Polytechnic school with three main locations, Vancouver Downtown, Burnaby (main campus) and Richmond (Aviation programs). They have an excellent reputation in the industry for churning out top notch talent in the field of Technology, Business and Engineering just to mention a few.
My Task
- Create a Portfolio Site from scratch or using a WordPress Template.
- Has to be responsive.
- SEO implementation.
- Image Optimization.
- Installation on the server of our choice.
- Showcasing some of my most professional portfolio pieces from the year.
- Include pieces from each of the disciplines ie. Illustrator, Photoshop, Javascript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3
